Okay, okay.  I know that's a brush, not a knife.  I paint with both!

Welcome!  I'm Meredith, a self-taught artist born and raised in DC Metro area.  I fell into my love of painting by creating a full-sized mural of an Italian seaside village on my new bedroom walls.  How'd that happen you ask?  I don't know, either!  I chock it up to divine inspiration.  As my passion for painting grew, I expanded into painting murals across Northern Virginia, and over the years switched to working almost exclusively in oils on canvas.  While I also paint with a brush, I have fallen in love with palette knife painting and have chosen to explore a variety of subject matter.  The vivid, loose strokes are eye-catching, emotive, and a joy to paint!
