A Mother's Love - 22x28 oil on canvas (sold)
The inspiration for this painting came from an image I took of my grandmother and baby. My grandma is just too youthful looking, though, I guess, since as I began painting her, I realized it looked far more like a mom than a great-grandma! This painting was so fun to paint, as it marks my first piece with my "greatest" work of art as the subject matter (that is, my baby, of course!). I love it especially though, because it represents the love of all mothers for their babes. What a special love that is!
